Srinagar, Jan 9 (GNS): Four minors, three BSF men and a doctor besides six travelers were among 122 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24, officials said on Saturday.
Among the fresh cases, the officials told GNS that 64 were from Jammu Division and 58 from Kashmir Division.
Officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 25 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 5, Kupwara 7, Pulwama 6, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 3, Shopian 0, Jammu 47, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 0, Doda 5, Kathua 4, Kishtwar 2, Samba 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD, SKIMS Soura and GMN Anantnag hospitals.
The CD cases include female (32) from Babhara, female (30) from Branpathri, female (38) (NA) from Baramulla, male (42) (NA) from Pattan, male (43) (NA) from Palpora baramulla, male (55) (NA) from SMHS sgr, male (50) (NA) from Habakadal, female (50) (NA) from Jawhar nagar, male (45) (NA) from Kupwara, male (70) (NA) from Budgam, male (66) from Barzulla, female (60) from Barzulla, female (60) from Natipora, male (54) from Nowgam, male (15) from Nowgam, female (63) from Shalteng, male (40) from Chanpora, female (50) from Bagi mehtab, female (58) from Shalimar, male (66) from Shalteng, female (42) from Shalteng, female (25) from Shalteng, female (35) from Pirbagh, male (25) from Barbarshah, male (45) from Lalbazar, male (23) from Lalbazar, female (46) from Lalbazar, male (79) from Buchpora, female (79) from Zakura, female (38) from Zakura, male (11) from Zakura, female (14) from Zakura, male (50) from Charsoo, female (50) (NA) from Uri, male (70) (NA) from Dalgate, male (NA) from Magam.
SKIMS cases
The BSF cases include three males (54, 50, 29) from Ch Bsf Humhama Srinagar.
The Budgam cases include male (50) from Lasjan, male (70) from Khag, female (55) from Nowbug Chadoora, female (65) from Hussipora Chadoora, female (68) from Mehboob Colony Natipora, female (30) from Lalpora Beerwah, male (36) from Budgam 269 Rr Engineering Regiment, male (41) from Gund Dalwash Budgam, female (31) from Charisharief Budgam.
The Ganderbal cases include male (65) from Dhobipora Ganderbal.
The Srinagar cases include male (40) from Srinagar, male (57) from Soura, male (46) from Gulabagh, female (24) from 90 Feet Road, two males (46, 72) and female (40) from Habak, male (48) and female (07) from Eidgah, two males (14, 38) from Lal Bazar, two females (25, 30) from Soura, male (50) from Aloochi Bagh Srinagar.
The Kupwara cases include male (41) from Dragmulla Kupwara.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (14) from Nai Basti, female (65) from Anantnag, female (25) from Gopalpora, male (28) from Trahpoo, male (75) from Kokernag, male (28) from Nagbal.
Moreover, they said, 267 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—116 from Jammu Division and 151 from Kashmir Valley.
They said out of 122425 positive cases, 2094 are active positive, 118422 have recovered and 1909 have died—711 in Jammu and 1198 in Kashmir.
Out of 4059790 test results available, they said, 3937365 samples have been tested as negative till date. (GNS)
