Srinagar, Jan 16 (GNS): Nine travelers were among 109 cases of covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total infection tally to 123217, officials said on Saturday.
Among the fresh cases, 55 are from Jammu Division and 54 from Kashmir Division, officials told GNS.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 20 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 5, Pulwama 7, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 1, Shopian 2, Jammu 47, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 2, Samba 3, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.
A number of the cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD, SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag hospitals.
The CD cases include two males (55, 65) and two females (40, 60) from Chanapora, male (32) from Natipora Srg, male (42) from Eidgah Srg, two males (25, 21) from Bijbehara Anantnag, male (93) and female (50) from NA, female (NA) from Habakadal Srg, female (68) from Magam Budgam, male (30) from Shalimar Srg, male (65) from Jawahar Nagar Srg, male (80) from Baghi Mehtab Srg, female (30) from Barsoo, female (49) and male (24) from Rajpora, male (42) from Srinagar, male (NA) from Zoonimar, male (56) from Qamarwari, female (60) from Beerwah, male (80) from Tral, female (25) from Nowshera, male (40) from Elahibagh, male (60) from Lal Bazar.
SKIMS cases
The Budgam cases include male (30) from Hayatpora Chadoora, male (51) and female (45) from Baghi Mehtab Chadoora, male (28) from Rawalpora Ld Colony, male (32) from Wahapora Budgam.
The Ganderbal cases include male (43) from Bambloora, male (75) from Gund Ganderbal.
The Srinagar cases include female (54) from Rawalpora Srinagar.
The Shopian cases include male (40) from Pinjoora, male (50) from Keygam Shopian.
The Kupwara cases include male (21) from Gabra, female (60) from Rawathpora, female (23) from Muqam, two males (40, 30) from 19 Garh, male (38) from 18 Sikh Kupwara.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (25) from Ringward, female (29) from H.P. Bagh, female (50) from Nowgam.
Moreover, they said, 256 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 168 from Jammu Division and 88 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
