Srinagar: Out of job dental surgeons Wednesday protested here demanding allocation of JKPSC posts in their favour.
The agitated surgeons holding placards reading ‘We Want Justice’, ‘Our Right PSC’ said they have been fighting for the cause of employment since 2008. “We are being neglected time and again as there is no one listening to us for all these years”, they said as per Kashmir Glory.
“As per guidelines there must be fifteen thousand doctors given the population but we fail to understand as to why the authorities are sleeping over this grave matter”, they said adding it is since 2007 that no post has been allotted in favour of dental surgeons.
Urging the authorities to consider their genuine demand, the agitated surgeons said that they hope this time around the higher-ups will wake up and put an end to the miseries the fraternity is going through.
