Continuing its unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between police & public, Police in Handwara facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group meeting (PCPG) at Kakloosa Kralgund Handwara.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Handwara accompanied by SHO PS Kralgund and other Officers of PD Handwara. The meeting was attended by Numberdars, Chowkidars, & respectable citizens of concerned area including members of Auqaf Committees.
On the occasion, participants highlighted various issues of public importance. During the interaction, cooperation of general public in eradication of drug abuse, social crimes etc was sought. Participants were stressed upon to co-operate with Police in curbing the drug menace and in identifying anti national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
