Srinagar, Feb 10 (KNC): An unidentified man who was critically injured after being hit by a car near Chanapora in Srinagar on Tuesday, has succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the man was hit by a car and sustained serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment, where his condition remained critical.
However, despite medical efforts, the injured person succumbed to his injuries during treatment, the official said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. Further investigation is underway. (KNC)
