DC Kupwara inspects preparations for Lolab Winter Festival 2026

KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 12: In the lead-up to the Lolab Winter Festival 2026, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse along with the Senior Superintendent of Police Kupwara, Syed Al-Tahir Gilani conducted an on-site inspection at Kariwan Eco Park, Devar Lolab, today to review arrangements for the forthcoming event scheduled on 15th February 2026.


Detailed discussions held regarding security, sanitation, parking arrangements, traffic regulation, cultural presentations, food vending, snow sport activities and public amenities at the venue.

The DC directed all departments to ensure full proof arrangements for smooth conduct of the event.
The Lolab Winter Festival is envisioned as a premier platform to propagate the region’s rich cultural heritage, bolster tourism, highlight indigenous handicrafts and culinary traditions, and afford opportunities for local artistes to exhibit their talent.
