Handwara, Mar 2: In an important public notice, the office of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kupwara has announced that the venue for conducting driving skill tests has been shifted from Handwara Bus Stand to Fruit Mandi Handwara with immediate effect and until further notice.

As per the notification issued by ARTO Kupwara, Mohammad Shafait (JKAS), all applicants scheduled for driving trials are required to report at the new venue as per their allotted date and time.

Candidates have been strictly directed to carry a valid identity proof along with their official appointment slip. Entry to the test ground will not be permitted without proper documentation.

To ensure smooth and orderly conduct of the trials, applicants must maintain discipline at the venue. Authorities have clearly stated that no unauthorized persons will be allowed inside the test premises. Additionally, photography or videography of the driving skill test has been strictly prohibited. Any violation of these instructions will invite stringent legal action.

The notice further clarifies that the driving skill tests scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, will be conducted as planned at the new venue.

Officials have urged all concerned applicants to adhere to the guidelines and cooperate with the authorities for hassle-free conduct of the testing process.(KNC)
