Anantnag, Mar 21 : An unidentified decomposed dead body was found in Nalla Arpath at Thajiwara area of Achabal in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that soon after receiving information, a team from Achabal Police rushed to the spot and took cognizance of the matter.
The body, believed to be in a decomposed state, was recovered from the stream, and necessary medico-legal formalities have been initiated.
Meanwhile Police have started an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to the death.—(KNC)
