Srinagar, Mar 22 : Police have taken cognizance of a viral video showing harassment and wrongful restraint of an individual at a public park in Langate area of Handwara.
A top police officer told Kashmir News Corner — KNC said that a case (FIR No. 43/2026) has been registered at Police Station Handwara under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 270, 352, 129, and 3(5).
He said that the accused persons involved in the incident have been identified and subsequently arrested.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, he said. (KNC)
