Srinagar, May 8th : A meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has been scheduled for today at 4 PM at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Official sources said the Cabinet is expected to deliberate on several important public welfare and administrative matters during the meeting. Key governance issues, implementation of budget announcements and developmental initiatives are likely to figure in the discussions.
The meeting assumes significance as it comes shortly after the reopening of the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar following the annual Darbar Move, with the government intensifying focus on administrative functioning and developmental priorities across Jammu and Kashmir.
