Srinagar, May 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered transfers and postings of two JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 889-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 8, Mr. Khalid Jehangir, JKAS, who was serving as Secretary in the Industries and Commerce Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, J&K, against an available vacancy.
The order further stated that Mr. Soheel Noor Shah, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment orders in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Public Services and Outreach Office, Raabita.
The order was issued by the General Administration Department (Services), Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, under the directions of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNC)
