Says Pakistan Running ‘Fake Propaganda Factory’, Urges It to Abandon Terror as State Policy
New Delhi, June 28 : India on Sunday strongly rejected allegations made by Pakistan regarding the recent incident in Karachi, describing the claims as baseless and urging Islamabad to focus instead on dismantling terror infrastructure operating from its own territory.
Responding to media queries, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, as per news agency JKNS said India has taken note of Pakistani reports attempting to link New Delhi with the Karachi incident.
“We have seen Pakistani reports making baseless allegations against India regarding the recent incident in Karachi. We categorically reject them,” Jaiswal said.
The spokesperson said Pakistan should stop making unfounded accusations against others and instead introspect over its own policies.
“Instead of pointing fingers at others, Pakistan would do better to look inwards, take credible action against the terror infrastructure on its territory and rid itself of its proclivity to rely on terrorism as an instrument of state policy,” he said.
India’s response comes amid Pakistani media reports attempting to fasely attribute responsibility to India in connection with the recent Karachi incident, allegations New Delhi has firmly dismissed. (JKNS)
