Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar Assigned Additional Charge of Principal District & Sessions Judge
Srinagar, September 12: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered the transfer of Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, placing his services at the disposal of the Chief Justice for his adjustment as Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Justice against the vacant post.
The order was issued by the Office of the Registrar General of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on September 12, 2026, vide Order No. 1429 of 2026/RG.
As per the order, the transfer has been made “in the interest of administration.” Zargar, who was serving as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, will now be considered for adjustment as Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice against the vacant post.
Meanwhile, the High Court has assigned Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, the additional charge of the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar.
The additional charge will remain with the Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, until the post of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, is filled on a regular basis.
The order has been issued under the authority of the Registrar General, M.K. Sharma, and copies have been forwarded to concerned judicial and administrative authorities for information and necessary action.(KNC)
