Srinagar, Sep 21 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed Agrostologist Kashmir under suspension over grave misconduct.
According to Government Order, a copy of which lies with GNS states that pending enquiry into the conduct and in terms of Rule 31 of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Shri Sajad Ahmad Khan, Range Officer Grade-I, I/c DFO/Agrostologist, Kashmir is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.
The order has been issued from Principal Chief Conservator of Forests/HoFF, J&K.
During the period of suspension, Sajad Ahmad Khan, Range Officer Grade-I, shall remain attached with the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator Forests/HoFF, J&K.
It is further ordered that Dr. Mehraj Ahmad Sheikh, ACF, I/c DFO Urban Forestry, Srinagar, shall hold the charge of the post of DFO, Agrostologist, Kashmir in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
