Elderly Tourist Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Gulmarg

Srinagar: An elderly tourist dies of cardiac arrest in Gulmarg in North Kashmir Baramulla district on Saturday.

Reliable sources told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll that one Sudhir Vasant Rao Nikumbh (78) son of Eknath Nikumbh, from Pune Maharashtra suffered a massive cardiac arrest near Gondola Gulmarg.

“The person, accompanied by his family, was immediately taken to PHC Gulmarg for treatment, where the doctors declared him as dead on arrival,” the sources said.

“A case under section 174 CrPC has been initiated in the incident,” sources said further. (KS)
