Suhail Khan Baramulla, Mar 7 (GNS): Locals in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Tuesday afternoon timely intervened to prevent a girl from committing suicide. Reports reaching GNS said that a girl was spotted by locals attempting to jump into the river Jhelum at cement-bridge in Baramulla. On noticing her doubtful movements, locals rushed towards her and foiled her attempt to jump into the water body. Confirming it, a police officer told GNS they are looking to ascertain under what circumstances the girl tried to end her life.
