Poonch, April 04 (GNS): A 50-year-old man on Sunday was injured in a bear attack at Sheindara area of Surankote in Poonch district.

Reports reaching GNS said the man identified as Mohammad Latif (50) son of Kala of Sheindara was attacked by a bear when he had gone to a nearby forest area.

He was taken to district hospital Poonch for treatment reports added.

A police officer also confirmed the incident and said the condition of the injured is said to be stable. (GNS)
