Kupwara, Jan 17 (GNS): With timely intervention of District Administration Kupwara, one more life was saved today from the tough situation in the Snow bound Machil area.
The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara with the active support of Army arranged a chopper service for evacuating a high risk patient namely Zareena from Thali Dudi in Machil area of Kupwara district.
The Department of Health & Family Welfare in its release have expressed gratitude and thanked District Administration Kupwara in general and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Dr Doifode Sagar Dattatray in particular for arranging a Chopper service to ensure timely evacuation of the high risk patient from Snow bound area.
The release further reads that during the past 72 hours two patients got saved due to the in time intervention of Dr Sagar, who is committed to quality patient care in this far flung and border district.
The people of the district, especially living in far flung areas, have hailed the efforts of DC for his dedication and commitment for such exemplary human services.(GNS)
