Pulwama, Dec 2 : In a determined crackdown on illegal mining activities, Pulwama Police intensified night patrolling across vulnerable stretches of the district. During the intervening night of 01 and 02 December, teams from Police Station Litter conducted focused drive checks at Rambi Ara, village Nikloora, and successfully intercepted two JCB machines, five tractors, and one loader involved in illegal extraction of minerals.

Following the seizure, FIR No. 104/2025 has been registered under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 3 of the Prevention of Public Property Damage (PPD) Act.
