Srinagar, Feb 3 (GNS): Twelve travelers were among 65 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials told GNS that among the fresh cases, 16 were from Jammu Division and 49 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall virus tally to 124659.
Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 23 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 5, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 9, Udhampur 6, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of the cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura and GMC Annatnag. The SKIMS cases include female (27) from Sozeith Budgam, two females (85, 62) and male (66) from Saloora Ganderbal, male (85) from Lar Ganderbal and two females (70, 26) from Buchpora Srinagar besides a female (18) from Handwara Kupwara. The GMC Anantnag cases include female (30) from Shurath, male (35) from Kokernag and female (56) from Bijbehara.
Moreover, they said, 61 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals— 27 from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir valley.
Regarding the three deaths, they said, one was from Jammu Division and two from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
