Srinagar, June 13 (GNS ): Two militants were killed in an gunfight with government forces in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.A police spokesman said a joint cordon and search operation was launched by Police, 19 RR and 18 Bn CRPF in Nipora area of Zadoora.“During the search operation, the militants were given opportunity to surrender, however instead they fired and lobbed grenades upon the joint search party, which was retaliated leading to an encounter.”In the ensuing encounter, the spokesman said two militants were killed and their bodies were retrieved from the site of encounter.
