Srinagar: Two boys from frontier district Kupwara have been selected for National Level Exhibition Inspire Exhibition after bagging positions in ‘Inspire Award Manak’ held here.
The two students Danish Javid and Mohammad Adeel Alam currently in elementary classes exhibited their performances in Science Model Exhibition held at SCERT Srinagar. The event was participated by a good number of students from across Jammu and Kashmir.
The component of innovation in science is an endeavor by Government of India to motivate the students in the age group of 10 to 15 years for inspired research as part of flagship programmes in Department of Science and Technology.
The objective of the scheme is to provide a platform to young students to enable them show their ability and to putforth their scientific ideas and innovations.
The selected duo showed their mettle and caliber and were selected for national level competition.
Notably, these programmes are conducted by DIET with an aim to guide and polish the ideas of students.
Trade Union leader and Vice Chairman Teachers Forum Mohammad Amin Khan has in the meantime congratulated both the students and hailed the efforts of principal DIET Kupwara Mohammad Matiuallha Masoodi and Abdul Rashid Dar District Coordinator part of the component Inspire award.
Khan said that the credit also goes to the teachers concerned who guided the students and developed the interest in the particular field, which ultimately yielded rewards for them. Kashmir Glory News
