Kupwara, Sep 21 (GNS): In a tragic incident of its kind, a 2-year-old child died after accidently falling into a water tub in Shumriyal area of the district on Monday afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said that one Owais Ahmad Majloo son of Nissar Ahmad Majloo from Shumriyal area fell into a water-tub at his home this afternoon.
Soon after spotting the child in the water tub, the family rushed it to nearby hospital, however the doctors present there declared the child as brought dead on arrival, reports said.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom has descended over the entire area on the tragic death of the child. (GNS)
