Srinagar, Jan 27 (GNS): Twenty-three travelers were 77 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total count to 124234.
Among the fresh cases, 18 were from Jammu Division and 59 from Kashmir Valley, the officials told GNS.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 23 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 4, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 2, Shopian 2, Jammu 16, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura and CD hospital.
The SKIMS cases include male (55) from Bramri Kupwara, male (50) from Hawal Sgr, male (60) from Duroo Anantnag, male (27) from Elahibagh SGR, female (18) from Elahibagh Sgr, male (75) from Barsoo Ganderbal, male (76) from Bemina Sgr and female (70) from Bemina Sgr.
The CD cases include female (45) (NA) from Gangbook, male (40) (NA) from Bemina sgr,male (54) (NA) from Gangbug, female (30) (NA) from Barzulla, male (65) (NA) from Keller Shopian, female (65) (NA) from Batamaloo, female (65) (NA) from Keller Shopian.
Moreover, they said, 129 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 55 from Jammu Division and 74 from Kashmir Valley. So far 121253 have recovered while 1931 people have died due to virus, leaving the number of active cases to 1050. (GNS)
