Srinagar, Aug 12: Seven IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre have been featured in India’s 100 Best Police Chiefs list released by Fame India and Asia Post, with three of the recognised officers having served in Jammu and Kashmir.
The officers with J&K service experience include Dr GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, SSP Srinagar; Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, DCP Special Cell, Delhi; and Tanu Shree, SSP Pulwama.
The other AGMUT-cadre officers featured in the list are Anant Mittal, ACB Arunachal Pradesh, currently posted in South Delhi; Rahool Alwal, DCP North East Delhi; Rohit Rajvir Singh, DCP East Delhi; and Shashank Jaiswal, DCP Traffic, currently posted in Rohini.
The recognition is based on the officers’ leadership, policing initiatives, crime-control efforts, professional efficiency and their ability to strengthen public confidence in the police system.
