Srinagar, Feb 08 (GNS): Four travelers were among 43 fresh covid-19 cases reported even as no death took due to the pestilence took place in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

They said that among the new cases, seven were from Jammu Division and 36 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 124952.

The officials told GNS that barring the winter capital of the J&K (7), no other district in Jammu division reported any case along with the three districts in Kashmir Valley.

Giving district wise details, they said Srinagar 20, Baramulla 1, Budgam 2, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 0

Anantnag 4, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 7, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0,

Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0

A number of cases were confirmed diagnostic labouratories at SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag, they said

The SKIMS cases include male (40) from Kawoosa, female (42) from Wussan, male (25) from Charehara, male (45) from Wadwan Budgam, male (27) from Nawabazar Srinagar, male (58) from Hyderpora, male  (75) from Buchpora Srinagar, female (45) from Chadoora Budgam, female (39) from Sopore , male (17) from Tral.

The GMC cases include female (38) from Chowan Keller.

Moreover, they said, 80 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—11 from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir Division. So far 122415 patients have recovered in J&K—50826 in Jammu and 71589 in Kashmir—while 1944 people have died—722 in Jammu and 1222 in the Valley, leaving the number of active cases at 593—109 in Jammu and 484  in Kashmir.
