76 Fresh Covid-19 Cases In J&K, 215 More Patients Recover

Srinagar, Jan 29 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir reported 76 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total case tally to 124373.

Among the cases, officials told GNS that 60 were from Kashmir Valley and 16 from Jammu. In all, nine districts reported no fresh case. 

Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 32 cases, Baramulla 10, Budgam 5, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 7, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 11, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

A number of cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.

The SKIMS cases include female (20) from Brambri Kupwara, male (47) from Rainawari, male (25) from Alamgiri Bazar Srinagar, female (28) and male (35) from Gund Rehman, male (27) from Manigam Ganderbal and male (65) from Wanigam Baramulla.

The CD cases include female (65) from Sonwar Srg, male (21) from Mirzabagh Nigeen, male (NA) from Lal Bazar, female (NA) from Zakura, male (45) from Botakadal, male (38) from Kathidarwaza, female (32) from Kanihama Budgam, male (32) from Zaindar Mohalla Habakadal, male (75) from Sumbal, female (70) from Pattan, female (86) from Qamarwari Srinagar. The GMC Anantnag cases include female (50) from Nowgam. Moreover, the officials said, 215 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 115 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir.  So far 121617 people have recovered while 1933 people have died, leaving the number of active cases in J&K at 823— 198 in Jammu and 625.
