DLSCC clears Rs 20.25 lakh compensation in militancy affected cases

BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 14: The District Level Screening-cum-Consultative Committee (DLCC) meeting on Monday cleared nine militancy-affected cases and sanctioned a compensation of Rs 20.25 lakhs in favor of the next of victim families.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad.

During the meeting four cases were cleared for compensation of Rs one lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased while three cases were sanctioned for compensation of Rs four lakh each under SRO-177.

An amount of Rs 3.50 lakh was also approved for property damage while an amount of Rs 75 thousand was also sanctioned for an injured person.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District Information Officer, Majors from 13 RR, 14 RR and 27 RR besides DSP and other senior officers attended the meeting.
