Srinagar, Oct 19: Dr. Yashpal Sharma, a Jammu and Kashmir descent, has officially took over as president of Academy of Hospital Administration at its headquarters in Noida, New Delhi.
Dr. Sharma (MBBS, MHA, FIMSA, AMT), as per a handout received here, took as president of the Academy Hospital on October 18 in a ceremony held at its headquarter in Noida. The ceremony saw the presence of new incoming Board of Directors and out going Board of Directors, the handout reads.
Soon after Dr. Yashpal Sharma convened a meeting of AHA Board to convey sincere thanks to all life members who supported the vicitory of present team, the handout reads.
Dr. Sharma on the ocassion assured that team will work for the upgradation of Academy of Hospital Administration and also assured that the team looks forward to open a branch of AHA in every Medical College, new AIIMS in the upcoming days, the handout reads.
The decisions regarding starting of new courses in Hospital Administration, Quality Management, Acceredation and associated matters were also taken into consideration, the handout reads.
Dr. Sharma, as per the handout, interacted with the members of Executive Committee & other Members through video conference.
