Srinagar, Nov 30 (GNS): A 45-year-old woman was killed while three other on-board passengers recieved injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in met an accident in Uri of north-Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that a vehicle (Van) bearing Registration number JK-05F 6513 skidded off the road near Noorkhah locality of Uri, resulting in on spot death of a woman and injuries to three others.
The deceased has been identified as Nazira Begum of Daragutlian Uri, and injured identified as Sona Begum (50), Raveela Begum (45) and Waseem Ahmad (10) all residents of Daragutlian.
The injured were moved to Public Health Centre Boniyar where all of them are said to be stable.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
