Langate, Jul 14: Qaziabad Development Initiative (QDI) on Wednesday convened a daylong meeting in Kralgund block of Kupwara to discuss the developmental scenario in the Langate constituency.
The meeting, as per Kashmir Glory, presided over by Chairman Mohd Munawar Khawaja was attended by various senior citizens, civil society members, youth besides people from various other walks of life including Adv Pirzada Zakir, Bilal Ahmad Baba, Zahid Hassan.
The meeting saw a threadbare discussion on the overall developmental scenario and unfolding political situation in the Langate constituency.
Addressing a meeting at Kralgund Block, Chairman QDI Mohammad Munawwar Khawaja said that the QDI formation was based on the unheard grievances of the general public, who according to him have been feeling helpless at the hands of a bunch of people.
I would be trying to do my best to do all possible to mitigate the suffering of people, Khawaja told those attending the meeting.
Khawaja, a retired administrative officer, exhorted that the character of political entities in valley has been highly dubious, saying that, this needs to be changed.
The meeting was also attended by various Panchayat members and prominent political activists of the area. – Kashmir Glory News
