Srinagar, Sept 22: A 17-year-old youth died after the tractor he was travelling on overturned in the Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the youth was injured in the mishap and shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
The deceased was later identified as Shahid Farooq (17), a resident of Reram village in Tangmarg.
Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken and the circumstances leading to the mishap are being verified.—(KNO)
