Budgam, Jul 15: MM Group of Companies conducted a daylong blood donation camp on Tuesday at Government Middle School Machama in sub-division Beerwah Budgam. The camp held in association with Student Seva Unit Budgam at SDH Beerwah was supervised by Muzamil Mehmood on behalf of MMGoC.
BMO beerwah was the chief guest along with advocate Inayat Malik – a well known advocate and social activist in the area.
The camp saw nearly thirty pints of blood collection, donated by Covid warriors and donors of different areas in sub division Beerwah .
A team was also sent by CMO Budgam under the supervision of Dr Bilal Musharaf from Govt District Hospital Budgam, even as a team led by BMO Beerwah actively participated in the camp.
The blood camp was sponsored by Student Seva Unit budgam, Real Plaza Beerwah, Kashmir Relief Trust Budgam, Kashmir Ski Tour, Impact Advertising Dobiwan Gulmarg and Anisa Academy of Martial arts.
On the occasion BMO Beerwah appreciated the people for conducting such events and assured that the SDH Beerwah will have its own blood bank very soon. The medical officer also felicitated media fraternity especially GNS Budgam Correspondent Raja Bilal for highlighting the issues of public importance particularly during the current pandemic crisis.
Talking on the occasion, Social activist Adv Inayat said that the blood camp was necessitated due to absence of any such facility to the local inhabitants amid the ongoing pandemic situation. With an aim to facilitate the locals and save precious lives, the camp was held, he said adding such camps will be held in future also. – Kashmir Glory News
