DC Bandipora holds interactive meeting with District/ Sectoral officers

Emphasizes on people-friendly approach in public service delivery & timely completion of all projects

BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, Wednesday convened an introductory meeting with all district, sectoral officers at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.

On the occasion, the DC, while chairing the maiden meeting after assuming the charge of Deputy Commissioner, enjoined upon all officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment and ensure speedy execution of works for holistic development of the district and adoption of proactive approach in public service delivery.

He further called upon all to be responsive and accessible to people at all times and nurture quick decision-making abilities in resolving public grievances.

He called for maintaining close coordination among departments for holistic and planned development of the district.

While interacting with District/ Sectoral officers, DC asked for adopting a people friendly approach and maintaining accountability and transparency in the working of all Government offices.

The DC also took extensive details of working and priority areas/projects of all departments and emphasized on timely completion of all targets and directed to have separate department-wise reviews in due course of time.

He also directed the officers to have focused attention on all flagship schemes and projects of the government, including HADP, Ring Road, PMAY, MGNREGA, BADP, ABDP, ADP etc.
