Srinagar: In a development that is likely to cherish people across the length and breadth, the news from the centre is that it has finally started snowing in Summer Capital Srinagar.
After witnessing a parched Chillai Kalaan, the harshest 40-day winter period, the parts of the Valley started witnessing snowfall from Wednesday but for many parts including Srinagar it continued to remain grim until Thursday midnight that the snow finally made its first fall.
The netizens in parts of the City took to social-media platforms to share with others the scintillating scenes as the intensity of the fall picked up.
