Leh, Dec 7: Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta on Sunday expressed gratitude over the inauguration of 125 major development projects by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, calling it a significant step toward strengthening infrastructure in Ladakh and other Himalayan regions.

Speaking to media persons, Gupta as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said it was a “matter of great fortune” that projects worth ₹5,000 crore were unveiled, out of which ₹2,500 crore were dedicated exclusively to Ladakh. “These include shock tunnels and 27 important bridges and roads that will greatly enhance connectivity in the region,” he said.
