Rajouri, Jan 22: The body of a 45-year-old man was found under suspicious circumstances near Dhanidhar Fort in Rajouri district on Thursday.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the deceased has been identified as Abdul Rehman, son of Mohammad Munshi, a resident of Fatehpur Danna, Rajouri.
Soon after receiving information, police reached the spot, took cognisance of the matter and shifted the body for medico-legal formalities.
A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the exact cause of death.—(KNC)
