SSP Anantnag Orders Transfer of Several Police Inspectors

Anantnag, Jan 29: In the interest of administration, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag, has ordered the transfer and posting of several police officers with immediate effect.

According to Order No. 26 of 2026 dated January 29 as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Inspector Reyaz Ahmad (Belt No. 7173/NGO) has been transferred from PC Anantnag and posted as SHO Police Station Anantnag. Inspector Majid Hassan (Belt No. 316/PAU) has been shifted from Police Station Anantnag and posted as SHO Police Station Bijbehara.

Inspector Javid Ahmad has been transferred from Police Station AHTU and posted as SHO Police Station Srigufwara, while Inspector Dilber Ahmad has been moved from the Prosecution Section and posted as SHO Police Station Uttersoo. Inspector Reyaz Ahmad (Belt No. 251/PAU) has been transferred from Police Station Uttersoo and posted back to the Prosecution Section as In-charge.

Inspector Parveez Ahmad (Belt No. 6155/NGO) has been transferred from Police Station Bijbehara and posted as SHO Police Station AHTU, DPL Anantnag. Inspector Nisar Ahmad has been transferred from Police Station Srigufwara and posted as Reserve Inspector (RI) DPL Anantnag.

All the officers have been directed to be relieved by or before January 30, 2026. (KNC)
