BUDGAM, JULY 08: Acting on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO), Budgam, has taken prompt action against a vehicle found performing dangerous stunts in the Haijan Brenwar area of the district.
Following the receipt of information, the vehicle bearing registration number DL4CNB7704 was traced, seized, and taken into custody by the ARTO Budgam for violations of the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules.


The Transport Department Budgam stated that performing stunts on public roads poses a serious threat to the safety of the driver, passengers, and other road users.
It reiterated that reckless driving and activities endangering public safety will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be taken against violators in accordance with the law.


The seized vehicle has been kept in the custody of the ARTO Office, Budgam, and further legal proceedings have been initiated as per the applicable provisions of law.
The ARTO Budgam appealed to all motorists, particularly young drivers, to drive responsibly, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and refrain from performing dangerous stunts on public roads. It also urged the public to cooperate with the authorities in ensuring safer roads across the district.
