April 08: Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS today assumed charge as Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag, following a formal handing-over ceremony at District Police Headquarters.
Before taking over, he visited District Police Lines to pay heartfelt tributes to police martyrs, saluting their supreme sacrifice for the nation.
The outgoing SSP, Shri Amrit Paul Singh-IPS, transferred the charge in a smooth, professional transition. Shri Amod Nagpure was welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour and the warm greetings of senior district police officers.
The new SSP reaffirmed his commitment to excellence in policing and public safety, while honouring the force’s valiant legacy.
