Srinagar, May 20th : Jammu and Kashmir Police have registered a case after recovering illicit liquor, beer and illegally stored fuel during a raid in Batmaloo area of Srinagar.
Police said 200 bottles of liquor, 100 beer bottles and nearly 130 litres of diesel and petrol were seized during the operation.
The case was registered against a resident of Firdousabad Batmaloo under relevant provisions of the Excise Act and Essential Commodities Act.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
