Srinagar, July 06 (GNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday met a delegation of mutton dealers from Jammu and Kashmir who apprised him of the difficulties being faced while transporting livestock through Punjab.
According to an official post on X by the CM’s office, the dealers highlighted the bottlenecks affecting the movement of livestock.
The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the Government is fully committed to resolving the issue and that all hurdles affecting livestock movement will be addressed.
He informed them that a high-level delegation from the Government of Jammu & Kashmir will visit Punjab in the coming days to engage with the concerned authorities and facilitate an early and amicable resolution.(GNS)
