Kupwara, July 06 (GNS): Security forces busted a terrorist hideout in the Keran sector of Kupwara district on Monday and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition.
According to a post by Chinar Corps of the Army on X, the operation was launched on July 06, 2026, based on specific intelligence inputs by the #IndianArmy in the general area of Keran Sector.
During the search, the forces recovered five AK series rifles, nine AK magazines, one hand grenade, and a huge cache of ammunition and other war-like stores from the hideout.
A search operation in the area is still underway.(GNS)
