Srinagar, July 8: Three CRPF personnel deployed for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra were injured after an unidentified vehicle hit them near the Taingan Bypass in the Nowgam area of Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an unidentified vehicle hit three personnel of D Company, 148 Battalion CRPF at the Taingan Bypass in Srinagar’s Nowgam area.
He said the injured personnel were immediately shifted to Ujala Cygnus Hospital, Nowgam, where they are undergoing treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable. Their identities were not immediately available.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and launched an investigation.—(KNO)
