District party leadership cites complaints over alleged behaviour with government employees and public

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 3: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has suspended Er. Ajaz from the party for a period of two years, citing alleged misconduct with government employees and inappropriate behaviour towards members of the public.

The suspension was ordered by BJP District President Ganderbal, Er. Gh. Hassan Rather, through an official communication issued on September 3, 2026.

According to the suspension order, the disciplinary action was taken following several complaints and representations received from different government departments regarding the conduct of Er. Ajaz.

The order stated that Er. Ajaz has been suspended from the BJP for two years with effect from September 3, 2026, over allegations of misbehaviour and misconduct with government employees, besides what the party described as unfriendly and inappropriate conduct towards the public.

The district BJP leadership said that the complaints received from various administrative authorities had been reviewed and formally documented as part of the disciplinary process.

The party maintained that the action was taken after considering the representations and records placed before the district leadership concerning the alleged conduct.

The suspension will remain in effect for two years, beginning September 3, 2026, as per the order issued by the BJP’s Ganderbal district unit.(KNC)
