Srinagar, Aug 7 : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Transport Department, has ordered the transfer and posting of an ARTO in Kashmir division.
According to Government Order No. 68-JK(TR) of 2026 dated 07-08-2026, issued by the Civil Secretariat, J&K, Shri Peerzada Shabir Ahmad, ARTO, presently attached with the Office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as ARTO, Kupwara.
The order states that he will relieve the ARTO, Baramulla from the additional charge of the post.
The order has been issued “in the interest of administration” and carries the approval of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The order was signed by Avny Lavasa, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Transport Department.
