Srinagar, Aug 22: A 26-year-old non-local man died after he was found hanging inside his hut at Samarbugh in Srinagar during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Bilu, son of Mohammad Khokan, a resident of New Friends Colony, South Delhi, who was presently residing at Samarbugh.
According to preliminary information, the man was found hanging inside his hut, following which he was shifted to SMHS Hospital for medical treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead at the hospita.
The circumstances leading to the incident are being ascertained by the authorities. [KNT]
