Reasi, Aug 8 (GNS): The body of an unidentified woman was recovered from Salal Dam in Reasi district on Saturday.
Officials told GNS that the body of a female, aged approximately 20 to 25 years, was found floating in the Salal Dam area.
On receiving the information, a team of SDRF Reasi, FSL experts and personnel from Police Post Talwara rushed to the spot. The body was fished out and taken into custody for legal formalities and identification.
Police have initiated proceedings under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Further details will be shared as they emerge.(GNS)
