Jammu, Sep 04 (GNS): An army soldier died after falling from a forward post in Nowshera sector along LoC of Rajouri district on Friday.
Officials told GNS that Lance Naik Rituk Choudhary, aged 26 years, with 7 years of service, fell from the post towards downhill ridge.
He was evacuated to MI Room Rumlidhara, where he was declared dead at about 0308 hours, they said.
At present, body is lying at ADS Hospital and legal proceedings are underway, they said.
Deceased belongs to Uklada, Tehsil Sonagarh, District Tapi, Gujarat.(GNS)
