Srinagar, May 31: (GNS) Army’s 41 Rashtriya Rifles have ‘recovered a dud hand grenade’ from a stream in Jugtiyal forest area in Haihama in Kupwara district.
An army official told GNS that the grenade was founded by the team this evening in Panjdoori Jugtiyal forest area. Upon assessment, the grenade was found dud, however was lifted from the area by the team, he said.
The army team combed the area to nullify chances of presence of any other possible ammunition lying in the area, they added. (GNS)
